We are building our Phlebotomy team! This position will cover our Beverly and Lowell Units and includes returning to the Woburn site to assist with specimen collection if needed. The hours are starting at 5am and we reimburse for mileage while working. Weekend hours are available as well. Following specimen collection, the phlebotomist is responsible to drop off specimens for processing in Winchester.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining satisfactory blood specimens and for assisting in performing routine analysis by performing; clerical, computer and limited technical duties. Incumbent is subject to weekends, holidays and on-call duty as assigned.

License or Certification:- Phlebotomy registered (American Society of Clinical Pathologist or other accepting certifying agency) preferred.- CPR certification.Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience:- Phlebotomy training course completion- Basic computer skills.Machines, Equipment Used:- General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, computer. - Standard and specialty laboratory equipment and machines.Physical Requirements: - Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and ability push/pull up to 50 pounds, which includes the lifting, pushing and/or pulling of medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients.
