Expanding Our Footprint: New Hospitals

This year, Encompass Health expanded its footprint by opening new inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across the country. These additions allow us to deliver compassionate, specialized care to more individuals on their recovery journeys. 

In 2025, we opened eight new hospitals across several states, bringing inpatient rehabilitation services to communities in Florida, Georgia, Connecticut and Texas. These new locations reflect our commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation. Each hospital opening demonstrates the collaboration of clinical teams, operations staff, recruiters, leadership and countless support professionals whose efforts help ensure patients receive exceptional care from the moment our doors open.

Welcoming New Employees Across the Nation

Our growth this year also included welcoming new team members who bring passion, expertise and a shared commitment to providing exceptional rehabilitation care. Our new hires that started in 2025 strengthen our hospitals, elevate the patient experience and contribute to a collaborative work environment rooted in compassion and clinical excellence.

In 2025, our recruitment teams hosted 140 hiring events nationwide. These events helped connect talented clinicians and healthcare professionals with roles that allow them to grow, lead and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.

Beyond hospital openings and internal growth, Encompass Health continued its commitment to supporting community organizations across the country. Whether through partnerships, volunteer efforts or outreach programs, our teams strive to make an impact both inside and outside hospital walls.
