Be the Dialysis Technician you have always wanted to be
- Monitors performance of safe and effective dialysis following all applicable guidelines.
- Verifies that dialysis procedure consents and dialysis orders are written prior to the initiation of dialysis and are administered correctly.
- Assists patients on dialysis and communicates patients' status to dialysis nurse.
- Communicates abnormal findings and/or changes in patient condition to physician and/or primary care nurse or nursing management.
- Documents care and changes in patient condition, taking appropriate actions when needed.
Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensures appropriate to state regulations.
- CPR certification required.
- 1 year dialysis technician experience required.
- 1 year of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
