Become the Maintenance Technician you always wanted to be
- Keeps up with state and local codes and does not exceed two infractions per review period.
- Maintains skills related to carpentry telephone repair, stationary engineer and computers.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all facility systems and all applicable regulatory standards.
- Handles security functions including rounds and report writing as appropriate.
- Performs routine and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control standards.
- Understands and institutes standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
- Maintains and monitors equipment and supplies; stores all supplies in proper areas.
- Collaborates with Nursing and Admissions to ensure patient rooms are ready for patient arrivals.
- Demonstrates competent use of proper body mechanics in all activities.
- Completes floor care including stripping, buffing, waxing and carpet
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license may be required
- High school graduate or equivalent work experience required.
- Previous experience in the areas of preventative maintenance, and housekeeping preferred.
