Be the Rehab Therapy Tech & Van Driver you always wanted to be
- Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
- Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
- Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
- Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
- Help to transfer patients to and from facility via the facility van and assist in maintenance of the van when complete
Qualifications
- License/Certification: CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle to be driven
- CPR and First Aid Training
- Previous transportation experience required
- Must be 25 years or age
