Talent Acquisition Student Intern (Summer 2026)

POSITION PURPOSE:
Encompass Health Corporation's Talent Acquisition Intern will get to serve as a part of a dynamic team of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting experts within our corporate office. You will be exposed to a wide variety of areas of Talent Acquisition including: Recruitment Marketing, Sourcing, Clinical and Non Clinical Recruiting, Corporate Recruiting, and Talent Acquisition Administrative Support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK
- Participate in various Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives including, but not limited to:
- Participate in resume review, job posting review, and sourcing for corporate, clinical and non clinical positions
- Support recruitment marketing by preparing for trade shows and career fairs
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on TA best practices
- Provide administrative support with recruitment agency contracts, ALDOL reporting, and candidate expense reports.
- Complete all task and assignments accurately and timely.
- Proactively seeks to learn about the company and the department.
- Participates in all intern specific activities (if applicable)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be actively enrolled in a college or university (Junior/Senior level students are preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to problem solving with a willingness to learn.
- Class experience in prospective field is preferred.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interns must be able to work in our Home Office in Birmingham, Alabama from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026.
